Providing health professionals with essential equipment to deliver better care
SNF’s Global Health Initiative (GHI) helps health professionals deliver better care by providing the tools and equipment they need. In Greece, new helicopters and planes are enhancing medevac capacity in remote areas, new PET/CT scanners are enabling advanced diagnostics at four major public hospitals, and a nurse call system and other equipment are upgrading services at Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens. These efforts, along with the provision of essential medical equipment in other regions of the world, address diverse patient needs while reducing the burden of traveling for critical care.
