CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa provides counseling, emotional support, and palliative care to help families manage the emotional and practical challenges of cancer. As part of its Global Health Initiative (GHI), a two-year SNF grant is going toward CHOC’s psychosocial support program for children and teenagers with cancer as well as their families.

The program provides transport, accommodation near treatment centers, nutritional support, and care bags with essential items. These services can help reduce strain on the family, foster hope, and improve treatment outcomes.

CHOC’s efforts and SNF’s support align with global efforts to increase childhood cancer survival through early diagnosis and comprehensive care.
