Enhancing access, quality, and equity for all in mental health care
SNF’s Global Health Initiative (GHI) supports efforts to catalyze sector-wide transformations in mental health care, centering on access, quality, and equity. Major initiatives include the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Initiative (CAMHI) in Greece, an innovative public-private effort to strengthen systems; the SNF Global Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the Child Mind Institute; and the SNF Center for Precision Psychiatry & Mental Health at Columbia University. The three new SNF public hospitals in Greece will bring state-of-the-art mental health infrastructure to underserved regions. Globally, partner organizations are focusing on clinician training, awareness and anti-stigma campaigns, school-based programming, addiction prevention, and other pioneering programs to improve mental health care resources for people of all ages.
